To our valued employees,

We find ourselves in a unique time. As people who are far smarter than us have classified British Columbia as low risk, work will continue as usual with heightened precautions taken wherever possible. 

Unfortunately we are a production based industry and if there isn't work being done our contracts aren't being paid, and we can't pay our employees. We value the contributions of each of you in your efforts, however if you are sick please stay home. 

If you need to stay home, the Liberal government has recently announced a change to the rules for Employment Insurance (EI) so that workers affected do not have to serve the waiting period to claim EI sick benefits.
